Great swim George so good to see especially knowing your history with that horrific accident. I see another Aussie teenager Bowen Gough won a Bronze in the 200 Fly

Btw 5 years ago George suffered a life threatening accident on a rural property & was lucky to have rescue heli in the area . He was airlifted to Perth & spent many weeks in surgery & rehab & 6 mths in a wheelchair . When he talks about building his legs up he really really knows it .He has walked the walk of never knowing if you could ever walk again .

This is one of the reasons I like breastroke being taught & developed with every child . It & ballet are the 2 best skills to have when young so you are able to rehab lower body body & back injuries all thru your life . … Read more »

Some good things for Aust mens breastroke . School boy Daniel Cave went 59.2 in the mixed relay .

George would be a handy sub in for Mitch Larkin too when Mitch goes walkabout – same mannerisms , same laconic style & similar looks

Geroge sounds like he has the ambition to be a top 200 breaststroker.

AUS had only one swimmer in the 200 breast this year in Budapest. So the Olympic and WC slot is open for the taking.

Australia has had a good run in breastroke over the last 10 or so years.
Rickard and Sprenger.
Both World champs and olympic medalists.
Good on him.

He’s going to have his hands full in the 100 br. We have our own 18 year old stud in that event! So excited for the much anticipated MA vs GH 100 breast showdown!
