The CSU Bakersfield men’s swimming and diving team had a home meet against one of the strongest programs in the country today, the University of Hawaii.

“Hawaii is a powerhouse and we really swam great against them today,” said Chris Hansen, CSUB’s Director of swimming and diving.  “Lovre Soric had a great meet as did Noah Hultner and Jake Chir.  We swam the best we could today.  Much better than last weekend.  I am proud of the men – we posted some top WAC times today.”

Soric, a senior from Croatia, won the 200 free with a time of 1:42.44, also swam a 1:54.19 to win the 200 IM and finished second in the 100 free (46.33).

Sophomore Noah Hultner from San Diego won the 1000 free with a time of 9:41.70.

Chir finished second in the 100 breast (56.66) and third in the 200 breast (2.07.28).
