Grand Canyon men’s swimming has had a successful start to the 2017-18 swimming season, but they have done it with a twist in a Star Wars themed way.
To begin the year, the Lopes placed first of six at the Florida International Meet and followed that up with wins at Seattle. Their first loss of the year came in a 228-257 decision against Air Force. Next, the Lopes took third at the Northwestern TYP Invitational out of six teams in participation.
Their next meet will take place after the new year begins on January 6 against Cal Baptist.
