Katie Ledecky took control of the 800 free with an aggressive first 100 and then did what she does best and held pace all the way to a spot on the US Olympic team. (Photo Courtesy © Tim Binning, theswimpictures.com)
If somebody posts the video of the women’s 800 free I will call that person a genius.
Why is NBC so nasty? It’s the only good question to ask.
Bobo, you may want to google for something like this:
2012 US Olympics Trials Swimming Finals Day Three 2012 06 27 HDTV
http://www.nbcolympics.com/swimming/video/browse/index.html#sx=all&fx=trials
You haven’t read me? Please don’t answer me nbcolympics.com! It’s banned for international viewers like me! And it’s scandalous!
If somebody could answer me it would be cool. I think I’m not the only swimming fan in the world who looks for the videos. Why would NBC block the videos after their coverage on live? I don’t understand. If Mel Stewart could talk to Rowdy Gaines who could talk to the NBC chief it would be good. Think to the swimming fans outside USA! Thank you.
Where can I find the videos of all finals? I want to watch again the women’s 800 free and some other races. And don’t answer me nbcolympics.com because it’s banned for international viewers.
It was a very impressive race from Katie. And it was beautiful to see. She has attacked the race like she had to do, after she has swum regular splits and she has finished very well. Matt Grevers has swum the performance of the trials on the men’s side and Katie has swum the performance of the trials on the women’s side. She has a great coach and there are no reasons she doesn’t continue to improve. She will win the 800 free and the 1500 free at the world championships next year. She can break the 2 world records in the future.
