TYR Sport is proud to announce the re-signing of 3X IRONMAN and 2X IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Craig “Crowie” Alexander to its roster of sponsored athletes.
Named one of “Fifteen Greatest Male Triathletes of All Time” by Inside Triathlon Magazine, Craig Alexander is one of the sport’s fiercest competitors. Becoming the first professional triathlete to win both the IRONMAN 70.3 and IRONMAN World Championship in the same year, Craig has spent his career constantly raising the bar. As the oldest professional male in history to win on the Big Island, it is no wonder the world has taken notice of Craig.
Today, the team TYR athlete has an outstanding five World Championship titles to his name, and remains only the fourth man in history to win three or more IRONMAN World Championships. However, he shows no signs of slowing down. Since 2016, Craig has had 5 wins and 4 other podium finishes in major 70.3 races.
“TYR is my choice for swim gear. Their products, ranging from racing wetsuits and swim skins to swim training apparel and equipment, are high quality and always perform well. I am extremely lucky to have been with them for so long,” said Alexander.
“Since the start of his career Craig Alexander has made history in the sport of triathlon, and we are proud to continue to support his success moving forward,” said TYR Sport Chief Executive Officer Matt DiLorenzo.
