Anders Holm — writer-creator-producer and star of Comedy Central’s “Workaholics” – swam NCAA Division I at Wisconsin. He was a sprint-man with chops. He’s kept his ties to the sport, old swimming friends, and he occasinoally drops random references to the sport in his show, references only swimmers would understand.

Anders, thank you so much for creating Workaholics and thank you for making the effort to include the swimming jokes and references; they are awesome. I’m fairly certain your show is the first in TV and film history to get the swimming jokes and references exactly right. You are the man!
This week’s episode, the flashback, was chock full of swimming. Not always complimentary, but I thought those jokes were especially awesome. (The remarks along the lines of “Oh, they’re still going? I don’t want to watch these naked dudes swim anymore” was awesome.)
