USA Women’s Water Polo Set for Three-Game Series with Australia

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – The USA Women’s National Team returns to action later this month when they host Australia in a three-game series in California.

The two longtime rivals will meet on August 19 in Berkeley, CA at the University of California, on August 22 in Pebble Beach, CA at the Stevenson School and on August 26 in Santa Barbara, CA at Santa Barbara High School. The match on August 26 will also serve as a celebration of the career of retired Team USA Olympian Kami Craig. Craig won three Olympic medals with Team USA including two golds (2012 & 2016).

A veteran squad will be competing for Team USA featuring members of the recent FINA World League Super Final title and athletes with Olympic and World Championship experience. Team USA is currently the #1 ranked team in the world and holds every major championship.

Tickets for all three matches will go on sale shortly. Live stats for all matches will be available at TheFOSH.net and live streaming of all matches will be available on Facebook and YouTube. A LIVE episode of the Counter Attack will also originate from the Stevenson School on August 22.

Team USA Head Coach Adam Krikorian has announced the roster for the upcoming competition which will serve as a final tune-up for the FINA World Cup, set for this September in Russia.
