Michigan
With the Wolverines, Deloof was a five-time CSCAA All-American (2018: 200y freestyle relay, 400y freestyle relay, 800y freestyle relay; 2017: 200y freestyle, 800y freestyle relay). She was a seven-time honorable mention All-America honoree (2018: 100-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Freestyle, 400-yard Medley Relay; 2017: 400-yard Freestyle Relay; 2016: 400-yard Freestyle Relay, 800-yard Freestyle Relay; 2015: 800-yard Freestyle Relay).
Deloof was a five-time Big Ten champion and four-time All-Big Ten honoree. She was tabbed as first team all-conference 2016-18 and second team in 2015. Deloof was part of the Wolverines’ 400y freestyle relay, 800y freestyle relay and 800y freestyle relay in 2018 and the 400y freestyle and 800y freestyle relays in 2016.
Deloof garnered CSCAA Scholar All-America, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2018.
2014-15
Deloof was an All-Big Ten second team honoree after finishing fifth in the 200y backstroke (1:54.81), 20th in the 200y freestyle (1:48.17) and 36th in the 200y IM (2:02.75). She traveled as a relay alternate and swam on the 800y freestyle relay team that finished 14th at NCAAs.
2015-16
Deloof placed fourth in the 200y backstroke (1:54.71) and sixth in the 200y freestyle (1:46.42) and 100y backstroke (53.62) at the Big Ten Championships. The sophomore swam in five events at the NCAA Championships: 200y freestyle (22nd, 1:45.73), 100y backstroke (43rd, 53.59), 200y backstroke (48th, 1:57.60) as well as the 400y freestyle relay and 800y freestyle relay.
2016-17
Deloof was sixth in the 200y freestyle (1:43.11) and 18th in the 200y backstroke (1:52.63) at the NCAA Championships. The junior won the Big Ten title as part of the 800y freestyle relay, while also placing third in the 200y freestyle (1:44.22), fourth in the 200y backstroke (1:52.86) and seventh in the 100y backstroke (52.96).
2017-18
As a senior, Deloof finished ninth in the 200y freestyle (1:42.69) and 11th in the 100y freestyle (47.81) at the NCAA Championships. She also placed second in the 200y freestyle (1:42.91), third in the 100y freestyle (48.01) and 12th in the 100y backstroke (52.96) at the Big Ten Championships.
2016 Olympic Trials
Deloof finished 33rd in the 100 backstroke (1:02.04) and 40th in the 200 freestyle (2:01.63) at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
2018 U.S. National Championships
Deloof was third place in the 200 freestyle (1:56.55) at the Phillips 66 National Championships, securing herself a spot on the Pan Pac roster. She also finished third in the B final of the 100 freestyle (54.53, 11th overall).
ISL – New York Breakers
On June 18, 2019, Gabby DeLoof was announced as a member of the New York ISL team, headed by GM Tina Andrew.
2019 World University Games
Gabby DeLoof started the 2019 WUG’s on the women’s 4×100 free relay, where she helped USA take home gold with a split of 53.87 in the 4th spot. She came back to win the 100 free individually, touching for gold in a time of 54.76. In the women’s 4×200 free relay, she anchored in 1:57.53 to give Team USA another gold. DeLoof finished up in the 4×100 medley relay, anchoring the team in 54.01 to victory in a tight battle with Japan to make it 5-for-5 gold medal haul.
2019 World Championships
On Day 5 in her lone event at the world champs, DeLoof raced in the 4×200 free relay prelims, where she split 1:58.35 on the 2nd leg to help USA get 2nd seed heading into finals, where they would go on to earn a silver medal.
