Horrible!!! Commentary! You couldn’t pay a swimmer to do play by play. Shame on you!

The worst announcing ever. He had more mistakes in each race than the horrible NBC track announcers do in an entire meet!!

maybe some sports bar could stay open a bit later than a breakfast joint opening early, Flash mob at Panera Bread, “Bagels & Breaststrok’n “

Are the multi class swims being live streamed…

This is incorrect. Olympic Channel will air all finals sessions live in the United States.

Well it was not incorrect at the time (hours ago). The link you post has different times moved up. All links on USASwimming and Olympics channel showed 5:30am Eastern an hour later than live a few hours ago.
RANT: This whole deal with getting streams/TV is a fiasco and only dedicated fans even bother to figure it out (and watch at 4am). So just stream it and forget this Olympic channel crap that no one would really watch if there was streaming.
Extra RANT:
Just have a stream for USA Swimming members (swimmers, coaches, officials, volunteers) and a new viewing category of pay per year for access to all USA events that are streamed. OK fine Olympics is not included….

Olympic Channel broadcast schedule also confirms that all finals sessions will air live (not tape delayed by 1 hour).

I better not get up at 4:30 am (3:30 Central) and find no live coverage…. LOL

That clearly says live starting at 130 am tomorrow night but my TV guide says something different

The article says streaming too but that must be inaccurate. Also if my cable provider doesn’t carry olympic channel, I am screwed and no one can watch prelims live?😩

How do you buy the Olympic Channel if your lame-oh cable provider doesn’t provide it?

I have the app on my phone. You just need a tv provider, username and password. I use my friend’s direct tv info to watch

If you know how to use a VPN, Canada has live coverage of finals (won’t work in US) http://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/summer/aquatics/broadcast
Australia’s main swimming site says they will stream live. Not clear about country limits but my guess is yes since US is supposed to only watch it on Olympic channel….

http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/panpaci2018/

edit that link doesnt connect to the broadcast so its pretty worthless but here is a twitter link that looks promising:

https://twitter.com/swim5ch

This looks promising, i see the words “live broadcast preliminary rounds”

SO… TV Asahi will carry the prelims LIVE. But it appears on ch2. I’ve found live streaming of ch1 in a couple of places, but nothing for ch2 except for the subscription service https://fujitv.live/subscriptions. It does have a 1day free, but I’ve not clicked thru. I can’t find the link now that said they have TV Asahi ch2, but I did get to them from that a link saying they have ch2.

I’ve not actually found a “live” stream of the finals either. The Olympic channel seems delayed 1 or 2 hours. In the US can’t get Canada’s feed which is blocked here. I don’t know about Australia’s feed. I would think it would be live as closer to same timezone, but it might be blocked in the US.
