POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The men’s and women’s swimming and diving squads were both picked to finish second in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference according to a pre-season poll by the coaches. The men’s team picked up a first team vote.

Reigning MAAC Champions Rider were picked to finish first for the men while MAAC Champions Fairfield were selected first for the women.

The men look to build off a season where they broke seven school records at the MAAC Championships. Key returners include Daniel Knoll who holds the 50 and 100 yard freestyle records and 200 yard butterfly record holder Murray Coueslant.

The women will look to a large freshman class to reload a talented graduating class. Esabelle Gervasio looks to be one of the top divers in the MAAC after claiming first on the 1-meter at MAAC Championships last season.
