2019-2020
Transom made her mark at the 2020 Pac-12 championships. After splitting 1:41.80 to anchor USC’s 800 free relay to victory, she looked primed to contend for a national title in the 200 free. After preliminaries, however, Transom was initially DQ’ed. However, eventually the DQ was overturned. Transom took advantage of this, taking the title in the 200 free by nearly a second in 1:42.47.
Riding that momentum, she also went on to take the title in the 100 free (47.85) and anchor USC’s 400 free relay to victory on the last night of competition. She forwent swimming the 50 free individually to swim on all 5 of USC’s top 3 relays.
