IRVINE, Calif. – The USA Women’s National Team will welcome the Greek National Team for a four-game exhibition series this June and July.

Team USA, currently the number one team in the world, is in Budapest this week preparing for the FINA World League Super Final. After competition ends they’ll return home to prepare for Greece.

The series starts on June 29 at the Riverside Aquatics Complex at Riverside City College in Riverside, CA followed by a meeting on July 1 at Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, CA. From there the action heads to Northern California with a July 4 meeting at the SODA Aquatic Center in Moraga, CA with the finale coming July 6 at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. All four matches will be streamed LIVE at YouTube.com/USAWP  and Facebook.com/USAWP with live stats available at TheFOSH.net. Tickets are currently on-sale for all four matches and can be purchased by clicking here.

The match on July 1 will honor Coach Bill Barnett. The longtime Newport Harbor High School coach and past Olympic Team Head Coach passed away late last year and will recognized prior to the start of the game. The July 6 match will have free admission as it is taking place during USA Water Polo’s Golden State Invitational tournament.

Team rosters will be announced prior to the start of competition. The series will serve as a warm-up for both teams prior to the FINA World Championship, starting on July 14 in Gwangju, South Korea. Both teams have won FINA World Championships in the past with Greece claiming the 2011 title and Team USA earning gold in 2003, 2007, 2009, 2015 and 2017.
