Mako Swim Team’s Max Isley Commits To Colby Sawyer College for 2019

Max Isley of Valparaiso High School and Mako Swim Team in Hobart, Indiana has announced that he will be swimming for Colby-Sawyer College in the fall of 2019. A sprint freestyler, Isley was the 10th place finisher in the 100-yard freestyle (52.01) at the Indiana High School Sectional meet in Chesterton.

Best Times in Yards:

  • 50 free – 24.41
  • 100 free – 52.01
  • 200 free – 2:04.63

Last year at the 2019 New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championship meet it took a 23.23 in the 50-yard freestyle and 50.69 in the 100-yard freestyle to earn a second swim and score points. Isley is the first confirmed commitment for Colby Sawyer for the class of 2023.
