High-Level International Meets For October 2019

The month of October dawns a new era of professional swimming, bringing the inaugural International Swimming League (ISL) season to fruition. Four ISL meets are set to take place across the United States and Europe, bringing some of the sport’s biggest stars into the spotlight in an unprecedented way.

Mark your schedules for the various additional meets also ready to make some headlines this month.

With all due respect to the host of the Internationales Oktober-Meeting in Allschwil (Switzerland) but this probably shouldn’t be listed – other than the name there isn’t anything international or high level to the competition.

However, you might want to add the 7th World Military Games in Wuhan (China) to the list above.

Any word on why he hasn’t added 200BR to his traditional line-up? Lack of training?

He’s a sprint breaststroker, probably doesn’t want to sacrifice speed for endurance. Can’t say I blame him, 200 LCM breastroke is not a fun race 🙂
