Anderson University selected Andra Pavich as the first assistant diving coach.

The Ravens launched their swimming program during the 2016-17 and will begin their fourth year in school history. Anderson will begin its first-ever season with diving during the 2019-20 season.

“I am very pleased to announce Andra Pavich as the first diving coach for Anderson University,” Head Swimming and Diving Coach Tanner Barton acknowledged. “Andra’s success in mentoring divers at the Indiana high school level coupled with her eagerness to coach at the collegiate level bodes extremely well for our program.”

Pavich started her coaching career as a volunteer dive coach with Burris Laboratory School in Muncie during the 2014-15 season. She then served as the dive coach with Delta High School in Muncie from 2015-18. In her time with Delta, Pavich led one of her divers to a fourth-place finish at the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) state meet.

Pavich graduated from Ball State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in German. She is currently working with LittleStar ABA Therapy in Carmel as a Registered Behavior Technician. Pavich also coaches with the Noblesville Swim Club in Noblesville.

“The future of Anderson Swimming and Diving looks bright as Andra will also assist in diving recruitment. Throughout the interview process, it was evident that Andra wants nothing but the best for our current and future student-athletes. Both Andra and I are excited to work together and help our diving program take flight!”
