The comeback trail continues for American swimmer Ryan Lochte, who in his first swim at the 2019 Pro Swim Series stop in Greensboro, North Carolina on Thursday swam a 2:01.73 in the 200 meter fly. At 35-years old, that’s the 2nd-fastest time of his career, behind only a 2:01.19 that he swam at the 2016 Southern Premier Meet.

He pretty cool DUDE for sure!!!
His versatility is impressive. Will never forget those underwaters in Shangai…particularly in 800 free relay as the anchor! His wall at the last 100 where he went from behind to half a body length ahead upon surfacing
same feeling here – those underwaters were Megalithic …only Stravius could come close in the world or Berens .
If he wins 200IM in Tokyo (which I’m rooting for him to do so) that’s such a story.
A swimmer who raised his levels to game changing and took risks with his swims and events.
He could of dropped 200bk in 2012 and beat Phelps on 200IM head to head fresh, such a purest for racing. I think everyone knows he worked his ass off, you don’t go 4.05/1.52.9/1.54.0/1.44.4 and have the longevity he has had without insane work ethic and mental resilience.
agreed – well said . One of the greatest when it comes to be ready …..and Compete
