For the second day in a row, USC women’s divers took the top spots as freshman Nike Agunbiade, senior Carly Souza and freshman Savannah Stocker swept the women’s platform to conclude the Trojan Diving Invitational on Sunday (Nov. 10) at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Senior teammate Naomi Gowlett rounded out the Trojan sweep with a fourth-place finish while Henry Fusaro won the men’s 1-meter.
On Saturday, Agunbiade led the Women of Troy in a 1-2-3 sweep on women’s 3-meter. She returned Sunday with an impressive performance on platform that earned her 537.35 points. Senior Carly Souza finished with 550.30, 251.95 coming in prelims. Freshman Savannah Stocker finished third with 484.30 while teammate Naomi Gowlett came in fourth overall with 466.15.
Fusaro, who won the 3-meter on Friday, completed the three-day competition with a win on men’s 1-meter with a combined 598.65. Freshman George Korovin who took the men’s platform competition on Saturday, finished third on 1-meter with 558.25.
