Grant Allison Stays In State, Commits to Georgia Tech

Grant Allison, a senior at Dunwoody High School and a member of Spartans Aquatic Club in Atlanta, Georgia, has announced his commitment to swim for Georiga Tech in the fall of 2020. A sprint freestyle main, Allison will join a Georiga Tech team that finished in 8th place at the 2019 ACC Championship meet.

At the 2019 Georgia 6-7A High School State Championship, Allison won the 100-yard freestyle (45.29) and won a silver medal in the 50-yard freestyle (21.12). Over the summer at the Georgia Senior State Long Course Championships, he took 6th place in the 50 LCM freestyle (23.80) and won the 100 LCM freestyle (51.47).

Top Times in Yards:

  • 50 free – 20.82
  • 100 free – 45.08
  • 200 free – 1:42.94

Allison will join sprinters Wiggo Frohde and Sean McNicholl, as well as Nathan Hayes, Justin Alderson, Caleb Blischke, Bantur Unlu,  and Trace Wall as members of the Yellow Jackets’ class of 2024.
