Madie Hall of Great Wolf Swim Team in Minnesota has verbally committed to Louisville’s class of 2025.

Hall is primarily a sprint freestyler, with strong times from the 50 through the 200. She’s also a solid breaststroker and IMer.
This summer, among best times in many events, she clocked a 25.93 in the 50 free and 57.29 in the 100 free in long course. In the former, she punched her ticket to the 2020 Olympic Trials. At the 2019 Spring NCSA Championships, Hall placed eighth in the 100 free and 12th in the 50 free. At the 2019 Summer NCSA Championships, Hall was seventh in the 100 free, ninth in the 50 free, and 10th in the 200 free.
Between Casey Fanz, Avery Braunecker, Lainey Visscher, Sophie Cattermole, and Nastja Govejsek, Louisville has the bulk of its sprint/mid-distance freestyle group leaving after this season, while mid-distance specialist Arina Openysheva only has one year of eligibility left. Hall will join the program right after Openysheva’s departure, though the incoming Louisville class is chock full of sprinters, namely Gabi Albiero, Tristen Ulett, Olivia Livingston and Paige Hetrick.
Current freshman Christiana Regeneauer, the top underclassman sprinter, will have two seasons of overlap with Hall.
