Suny Geneseo Men & Women Hold Decisive Leads Through Two Days Of SUNYAC Champs

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Day two of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men’s and women’s swimming and diving championships wrapped up Thursday night at the Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo. Geneseo won four men’s races and took home five women’s titles while Cortland swept the 500 freestyle races.


Record Breakers

Geneseo’s women’s 200 freestyle relay team of Noelle Staso, Maddie Knight, Kelly Lennon and Deidra Osula broke both the meet and conference record touching the wall in 1:33.98.

Deidra Osula from Geneseo broke the 50 freestyle conference and meet record, which she set last season, swimming the prelims in :23.25.


The championship continues Friday with prelims starting at 10 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m. Full Schedule
