Kezman, Prinsloo Pace Women’s Water Polo Week 8 Scorers with 7-Goal Efforts

La Verne’s Jassmine Kezman and Siena’s Bianca Prinsloo put in seven goals each vs. Redlands and Connecticut College respectively to pace all women’s water polo Week 8 individual scoring efforts.

Kezman’s seven-goal haul came in the Leopard’s 10-6 win over Redlands on Wednesday. She also added a six-goal effort in a 10-9 loss to Saint Francis (Pa.) on Sunday.

Prinsloo’s seven goal effort was part of a record breaking 27-5 win for the Saints on Sunday. Siena set records for goals scored and margin of victory in the win over Connecticut College to start Day 2 of the Harvard Invitational. The Saints smashed the program’s previous goals record of 19, which had been achieved twice, while besting an 18-goal win margin from a 19-1 victory over Utica on March 23, 2007.

There were 16 six-goal performances, including three by Wittenberg’s Savanah Phillips and two by La Salle’s Sarah DeFusco. Phillips dropped six goals against Carthage and vs. Monmouth on Saturday and added another six-goal outing against Macalester on Sunday.

DeFusco put in six scores in wins over Occidental (12-6) and Fresno Pacific (15-9) at the Claremont Convergence on Saturday.

Week 8 also brought 14 five-goal efforts, 60 four-goal outings and 127 hat tricks.
