Highland Ranch’s Hannah Chabin Commits to Concordia University Irvine

Hannah Chabin, a current high school senior from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, has committed to swim for Division II Concordia University Irvine. Chabin will graduate from Mountain Vista High School in spring 2020 and join the Eagle’s class of 2024.

Chabin is a current year-round swimmer for Highland Ranch Aquatics along with swimming for her high school at Mountain Vista under coach Rob Nasser.

Earlier this year, Chabin placed 5^th in both the 1,000 and 1650 freestyle at the New Year’s Classic. She is also a CHSAA 5A State Championship qualifier.

“Being able to commit to a school like Concordia fulfils a life-long dream to be able to compete for an outstanding school and swim program in college and I cannot wait to become a Concordia Eagle next year!”

This year at the 2020 PCSC Swimming and Diving Championships with Concordia, Chabin would have placed 16^th in the 200 breaststroke with her current best time of 2:35.82.

At the PCSC Championships this year, the Eagles placed 2^nd as a team—only 4.5 points behind the 1^st place team.

Chabin will begin her swimming career at Concordia University beginning fall 2020.
