Brendan Hausdorf from Marietta, Georgia has announced he intends to swim for Louisiana State University beginning in the fall of 2021.
Hausdorf swims for Lassiter High School and Marietta Marlins and specializes in free and IM. He was runner-up in the 7A 200 free (1:39.56) and placed 4th in the 7A 500 free (4:35.35) at the 2020 GHSA 6-7A State Swimming & Diving Meet. Hausdorf swam the same two events, plus the 100 free and the 200 IM, at 2019 Winter Juniors East. He earned lifetime bests in both the 500 free and 200 IM. A week earlier at the Georgia Senior Short Course State Championships, he placed 12th in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 breast, going a PB in the latter. Last summer he swam the 200/400 free at Speedo Junior Nationals. During the 2019 long course season he improved his times in the 50/100/200/400 free, 50 back, and 200/400 IM.

LSU finished 9th of 10 teams at the 2020 SEC Championships. It took 43.60/1:35.71/4:22.68 to score in the freestyle events, and 1:46.21 to make it back in the 200 IM, at the conference meet.
