Danielle McNerney has verbally committed to swim at Colgate University. McNerney is a senior at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland, and she swims for the North Baltimore Aquatic Club.

Her most recent meet was back in February, from the 20th-23th at the 2020 Maryland Swimming Short Course Senior Championships. McNerney swam personal bests in the 50 (24.60), 200 (1:52.94), and 500 freestyle (5:05.64).

McNerney’s 200 free time places her first among Colgate’s freestylers from the 2019-2020 season. Her 50 free places her 3rd, 5th for the 100 free, and 3rd for the 500 free. She would have been seated 19th on the psyche sheet for the 50 free at the 2020 Patriot League Championships.
McNerney will join Emmet Santry, Jordan Hurt, Alexandra Mehos, Neil Nejame, and Brooke Garretson for the men’s and women’s recruiting class of 2021.
