Forde also explains her ascent from jr national team to NCAA champion and how she slowly but surely became comfortable training with the Stanford women.

I hope Ms. Forde also pushes for the State of California to significantly rethink and improve its forest management strategies. The practice of not clearing out dense underbrush has been an important contributing factor to creating inferno-like fire conditions. Good luck to her at Olympic Trials next year.
90% of the forests are National Parks. Tell the President!
@Ghost: Yes, the Federal government can also improve their forest management protocols — brush clearing should be done at all levels. The Feds own 57% of forest land in California. In San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties — where the CZU Complex fire occurred (responsible for a lot of the Bay Area smoke) most of the forested land is either state or privately owned. Again, best wishes to Ms. Forde and all the other swimmers who are preparing for 2021. Also, Coleman: another nice interview! Keep ’em coming!
