Celaya-Hernandez Wins One-Meter On Day One Of Auburn Diving Invitational

AUBURN, ALA. – The LSU Diving team kicked off the Auburn Diving Invitational on Wednesday with Juan Celaya-Hernandez taking the top spot on Men’s One-Meter. The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow as the women will compete on the One-Meter Springboard at 11 a.m. CT and the men on the Three-Meter Springboard at 3 p.m. CT. 

On Men’s One-Meter, Celaya-Hernandez won after diving to a score of 398.90. This is the third time in three competitions this season Celaya-Hernandez has won one-meter. He did it this time with his second highest score this season. 

Dakota Hurbis finished in eighth place with a score of 286.80.

THURSDAY ORDER OF EVENTS

  • Women’s One-Meter – 11 a.m. CT
  • Men’s Three-Meter – 3 p.m. CT
