DURHAM, N.C. – Senior Ellie Winslow and freshman Seamus Harding Jr., were named ACC Divers of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Winslow and Harding Jr. became the third and fourth Blue Devils to earn a weekly honor from the conference this year after their diving performances in the meet against UNC Wilmington on Saturday. They joined teammates Sarah Foley (Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 10) and Maddi Pullinger (Diver of the Week on Nov. 10).
Winslow enjoyed one of her best showings at Duke while celebrating Senior Day. A native of Upper Arlington, Ohio, Winslow recorded career best scores in both of her events, the three-meter and platform. She placed first on the three-meter with a score of 321.98, the eighth-highest score in program history. On platform, she scored a 256.60 that ranks 10th in program lore.
Harding Jr. competed for just the second time while at Duke and improved in both events for new career-best scores. The lone diver in the platform event, Harding Jr. recorded a 357.08 and now sits fourth all-time at Duke in the event. He also recorded a 347.55 in the three-meter.
