Sacred Heart’s Olivia McNicholas Tabbed As NEC Diver of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J.– Sacred Heart University swimming and diving first-year Olivia McNicholas was tabbed Northeast Conference Diver of the Week as the conference announced on Thursday. This is the first time the freshman has received this honor.

The award comes right before the Pioneers host their final regular-season meet of the season that is on Saturday, March 20 at 12:30 p.m. versus St. Francis (N.Y.).

McNicholas won both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives in a Pioneer win over Fairfield. She scored 237.82 in the 1-meter which set a new program record passing a mark set by Drew Mulvey (228.85) in 2010. She also scored 199.88 in the 3-meter dive.
