I think the UND job has closed to applicants and candidates are now being interviewed. From what I have been told there is at least one suprising high profile club team applicant.
I believe the Head Coaching job at North Dakota is still available.
Anybody know why head coach position is available at limestone? He was not liked that much, but seemed to be producing good swimmers. I am guessing he left.
There are no current or anticipated openings in men’s swimming & diving at the University of Notre Dame. (and Yes, we do only have one associate head coach). Thank you to the people who made the nice comments.
Signed, Tim Welsh.
(For those unaware, Tim Welsh is the head coach at Notre Dame).
Thanks, Tim, for clearing that up. Congrats on a great season, and good luck moving forward.
I assume Rutgers and UVA will have new opens for assistants soon since both of them had assistants leave in the past week. (Miller to Northwestern and Robinson to Tulane)
I missed something along the way. why does Pitt have an opening?
I’ve heard that their female assistant is leaving for Australia
I hear notre dame men’s swimming is anticipating two open positions for associate head coach
Please explain how ND Men’s Swim can have TWO openings for the same position. They are only allowed two coaches, and neither coaches have left?
I just heard that both positions would have openings.. clearing the house type of deal
Swimfan34, who did you hear that from? Notre Dame is a team on the rise and have put together a string of consistently improving seasons. If they are trying to “clean house” then that would be suprising
I, again, don’t know anything specific, but unless they’ve moved up the proverbial food chain, I’d be surprised if the men’s coaching staff were forcibly removed from their duties. They had a banner year in 2013, ran away with the Big East title…can’t imagine not giving this staff a chance to continue improvement once they get to the ACC.
