Hopefully she replied…….she doesn’t concern me. I already know I have silver wrapped up.

What a horrible first olympic experience for Regan.
No spectators. Locked in the room. Not being able to watch other sports. Very few interactions with people. Masks outside of water. The constant fear of catching the virus.
I wish her to qualify for Paris 2024 to enjoy a real olympic experience.

She doesn’t seem to mind much. The team is close and they will bring the best out of each other. Yes, it’s a mess still, but that’s life.

What are you even saying? Did you listen to the press conference? She is thrilled to be sharing this experience with a great group of teens and veterans. She takes it one day at a time – doubt 2024 has even crossed her mind – why would it – she’s an Olympian -NOW – and is happy to be in paradise with people her age who can relate to the most important thing for each of them right now. I’d define “Enjoyable” as a idream realized. Nothing is guaranteed for anyone.

If they wanted it to be a real Olympic experience the Games needed to be postponed until 2022. I was posting that here in spring 2020. Sure there would have been some obstacles but there was zero chance a global pandemic of this magnitude would be behind us by summer 2021. As always generalities overwhelm specifics.

Would be a better chance of that than a hot shot junior golfer avoiding injury and a budding career?

I don’t think the experience would be any better if it were Paris 2021. Bobo just pumping up his home country.
