Oh and I see Michael Phelps too. He had a pretty good career.

I see Maxime Rooney in those all-time rankings.
In 2019 he swam 47.61 in the 100 free, 1.46.78 in the 200 free and 50.68 in the 100 fly!
Hopefully it was not the peak of his career. He was far from that level in Omaha this year.

Jack Alexy 48.69
Let’s hope Cal takes care about him. He’s a special 100 free talent. 7 foot wingspan.

I see Jack LeVant very high placed in the 17/18 all-time rankings.
He was such a great US prospect in the 200 free/200 fly 3 years ago.
We have not heard much from him since then.
I’ve just looked at the olympic trials results and I didn’t see his name.
is he injured?

I know nothing, but it appears Stanford was not a good fit for him. Pure speculation.

Yes, it’s pure speculation. But that’s a fact that he has disappeared from the radars since he swims at Stanford. He would not be the first great US junior wasting his talent there. He’s from Texas so I’m surprised he didn’t go to Texas in college. They know how to develop 200 free guys there.

Levant was struggling with depression and injuries. If I remember correctly, he said on his social media that he was taking a step back from swimming to reconnect with more important things, which I respect

I can’t remember what happened but i think it was a bad injury right after he went that 1:46 free and 1:55 fly. It occurred before he went to Stanford so they didn’t have anything to do with it.

I have heard Levant has not been training for some time. He took some time off to decide if he wanted to continue and hasn’t competed since March 2020. Also, he is not on the Stanford roster for the upcoming year. Most signs indicate that he is done swimming.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I remember of Connery being more a breaststroker a few years ago.
Looks like he has transformed in a very good freestyler.

Not bad for a guy who didn’t swim more than 2x a week in early 2021!
