Finke takes us through both his Olympic Trials experience and Olympic experience, noting his experience from previous national teams had helped him feel ready to seize this moment. Finke gives a play-by-play of both 800 and 1500 from the Olympic Games, where he had monstrous last-50 splits to pass the field and take the gold in both races.

If anyone should be able to benefit from the NCAA likeness rules, it’s Bobby. Two individual gold medals at his first Olympics, a genuinely likable, good-looking and hard working guy with a signature swimming style that even the layperson watching on TV remembers. He deserves a lucrative swimwear contract.
