Seton Hall Men, Westchester Women Earn Wins At Rowan Diving Invite

Glassboro, N.J – The Seton Hall diving teams had strong showings at the Rowan Diving Invite inside Tony Lisa Natatorium. The Pirates had two individual men’s winners in Joel Satir and Trevor Post.

In the men’s 1M Dive, Post scored 287 points to lead all divers. Fellow Pirates Quinn Murtha and Satir followed with scores of 246.20 and 221.30, respectively. On the women’s side of the 1M Dive, Laura Stavila (Oakland, Calif.) took third with a score of 230.00 while Nicolette Pawar (Lawrenceville, N.J.) racked up 154.90 points following her dives.

In the 3M Dive on the men’s side, Satir led the way with 293.95 points while Murtha and Post followed in third and fourth. Murtha tallied 284.75 points while Post scored 235.10 points. Stavila took second in the women’s 3M Dive with 225.75 points while Pawar finished with 173.90 points.

The Pirates will be back in action when they travel down to Fairfax, Va., to take part in the Patriot Invite from Nov. 18-20.

GLASSBORO, N.J. – Shannon O’Hara (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Twp.) won both boards and Evie Atland (Middletown, Pa./Lancaster Country Day) finished second off the 3-meter springboard at the Rowan Diving Invitational Saturday afternoon.

O’Hara posted a winning score of 241.00 off the 3m board while registering a 234.85 off the 1m board to take that competition as well. Atland scored a 230.20 off the 1m to finish right behind O’Hara. Sophia Ginochetti (Forty Fort, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) placed third on the 3m with a score of 213.25.
