Today, ticket sales officially opened for the 2011 Fina World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai.
Ticket prices will range from approximately $5 to $60 for prelims sessions, and $12 to $88 for finals sessions. These prices make the meet surprisingly accessible for fans, and hopefully will leave the 18,000 seat Shanghai Oriental Sports Center packed for every session.
Seating plans for the different venues are available here. 1 RMB = approximately 0.15 USD:

With fewer than 90 days until the competition, meet organizers have finally unveiled the official Championships map, that includes the locations of the facilities clearly marked on the city map, and the nearest metro stops clearly marked on the transportation map. Unfortunately, these maps have only been distributed to the federations thus far, but as soon as we can get our hands on one, we’ll be sure to share. There is a small section of the map posted on the ticket sales website.

of course… within 24 hours, the session with 1500m is sold out…
The “Sun Yang” effect, I imagine.
