After a week off for the holiday break, the majority of college swimming and diving teams are now firmly entrenched in Christmas training and won’t begin competing until we’re a full week into January.
However, there are still some NCAA meets on the slate for the coming week, including a New Year’s Eve clash between UC San Diego and Incarnate Word, with the Cardinals turning right around to face San Diego State on New Year’s Day.
FAU, Old Dominion and Army were originally scheduled to race one another Dec. 31 – Jan. 1, but the meet has since been canceled.
We’ll also see a few duals occur mid-week next week, including the Orange Bowl Swim Classic on Monday and Harvard v. Brown on Tuesday.
