The Louisville men kicked off night three of the ACC Championships with a meet and conference record in the 200 medley relay swimming to a time of 1:21.84.
The team consisted of Mitchell Whyte, Evgenill Somov, Dalton Lowe, and Abdelrahman Sameh. They broke the previous conference record which was set by Louisville at NCAAs last year in a time of 1:22.11. They also won NCAAs in the event while setting the previous record.

The biggest difference between the two was the butterfly leg as Lowe was 0.57 seconds faster tonight than Albiero was at NCAAs last year.
They also broke the meet record of 1:22.37 which NC State broke in 2019.

Notably, the NC State relay was disqualified tonight after an early take-off. NC State had touched second finishing right behind Louisville in a time of 1:21.88 which also would have broken the previous meet and conference record.
The biggest difference between the two records was the breaststroke leg as Somov was 0.42 faster tonight than Graber was in 2019. Elaraby and Ress split almost the exact same 50 freestyle as they were only 0.01 seconds off of each other.
The relay will look to defend their title at NCAAs next month.
