Beata Nelson is the one to watch with World Trials in a month. She has incredible underwaters, and could very well do amazing in the 100/20 Freestyle events and the 50 back/fly.

What events do you see her qualifying in?

You’re thinking the relay for the 100/200 free and individually for 50 back and fly?

She was definitely a weapon in ISL but has he ever been able to translate to LCM?

Casas is legit world class. Look at the list of swimmers behind him. Needs to make the team in multiple events. 100bk, 100fly, maybe 200bk. I don’t know if his freestyle is gonna get there in LCM.

His 100m backstroke has been looking way better than his 200m. He seems to be focusing on sprints mainly. I wish he still swam the 200im

Hopefully 1BK/200 IM are the main focus with swimming the 100FL as a supplemental.

Not too surprising to see college kids still riding post taper races especially LC and still going decently fast. Drew Kibler could honestly go something like 1:46 later, Anna Elendt an entire second off her PB and could drop even more with that how much? I’m not sure. Casper Corbeau could get down to 59 low tonight just because he definitely has the speed to go that fast maybe even faster but for tonight it will be faster to get the win there. Eric Freese could go an entire second faster tonight. Not sure about everyone else though excited for Marchand’s swim and I’m just speaking about the college guys haven’t even scratched the surface with everyone else yet will… Read more »

I don’t know how much we can read into Florida men’s results. Dressel, Finke and Smith didn’t look as sharp recently as they were, but they were never very fast in season so who knows?
