Trials U.S.A: Risultati Completi E Video Delle Finali Day4

2022 U.S. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TRIALS

La sessione di finali di venerdì sera ci ha dato altri sei qualificati ai campionati del mondo per il Team USA.

Katie Ledecky ha aggiunto i 400 metri stile libero ai 200/800 stile. Nei 400 la battaglia si è avuta per il secondo posto, conquistato da Leah Smith.

Lilly King ha portato a casa la tripletta negli eventi rana e rappresenterà il Team USA a Budapest in tutte e tre le distanze 50/100/200 metri. A Budapest non ci sarà invece la campionessa olimpica nei 100 metri rana femminili, Lydia Jacoby, che ha chiuso la finale di stanotte al quarto posto.

I 100 dorso femminili hanno visto una battaglia serrata tra sei delle prime 10 al mondo di questa stagione. Regan Smith si porta al comando del ranking mondiale stagionale con il tempo di 57.77 e Claire Curzan in un finale emozionante anticipa Rhyan White di 2 decimi per portarsi al secondo posto.

Nelle gare maschili, Nic Fink diventa il leader mondiale della stagione nei 100 metri rana con un crono di 58.37, a 14 centesimi dal record americano.

Hunter Armstrong è il protagonista anche dei 100 metri dorso. Dopo aver stabilito il Record del mondo nei 50 metri, si porta in cima al ranking stagionale nei 100, con il tempo di 52.20.
