Convocati Ufficialmente 41 Nuotatori USA Per I Mondiali Di Budapest

USA Swimming ha confermato un roster di 41 atleti per i Campionati del Mondo 2022. La squadra americana sarà composta da  21 donne e 20 uomini.

Questa è la formazione più piccola degli Stati Uniti per un evento internazionale in vasca lunga.

Il roster dei campionati del mondo 2019, ad esempio, aveva 22 donne e 24 uomini. Il roster olimpico di Tokyo 2020 aveva 50 nuotatori, nonostante ci siano meno eventi alle Olimpiadi (37) rispetto ai Campionati mondiali (42).

Nella squadra ci sono sette under 18 e nessun componente ha compiuto 30 anni. Il più vecchio è Nic Fink, poco meno di 29 anni.

La nuotatrice più giovane è invece Claire Weinstein15 anni e tre mesi.
