Arena will debut its new Limited Edition POWERSKIN Carbon-Pro Mark 2, created for members of the U.S. National Swim Team, at the FINA World Championships starting this weekend. The limited edition POWERSKIN Carbon-Pro Mark 2 features a red, white and blue pattern and is currently exclusive to U.S. National Team athletes competing internationally. The suit was designed to celebrate Arena’s eight-year sponsorship as the exclusive outfitter of the U.S. National Swim Team. It will hit retail stores in the U.S. and internationally in October 2013.

“We are so proud of this partnership with the U.S. National Team, and are thrilled to be able to celebrate it on swimming’s biggest stage,” said Tim McCool, VP and General Manager for Arena North America. “To outfit top athletes like Caitlin Leverenz, Megan Romano and Tommy Luchsinger, as well as other members of the team, is an honor for our brand. Our relationship with USA Swimming gives us the opportunity to provide the world’s best swimsuit technology to the world’s best swim team, and that is what makes this partnership truly special.”

When you have the greatest athletes in the world on a global stage, you have the opportunity to challenge convention, and that’s exactly what we’ve done with the Limited Edition. Arena is already globally known for having the most technologically-advanced suit in the market with our POWERSKIN Carbon-Pro Mark 2. We’re admittedly pushing the limits with this particular design, but these athletes push their limits every day, so we felt the product should do the same.  Plus we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to celebrate the U.S. Swim Team, the youth and the spirit of the sport.”

The Limited Edition U.S. National Team Suit was revealed to the U.S. National Team and fans during the Phillips 66 USA Swimming National Championships in Indianapolis last month. It will hit the pool for the first time at the 2013 FINA World Championships, where pool competition begins on Sunday.

Arena True Colors Block“I’ve just started racing in the Carbon-Pro Mark 2, and I love the way it supports my body,” said bronze medalist and U.S. National Team swimmer Caitlin Leverenz. “The U.S. National Team suit gives me the benefit of the Carbon-Pro technology while showing my pride in representing the USA. I’ve never seen a suit like this before – it’s truly a special suit and it makes a bold statement!”

“I am so excited to be able to debut this suit in Barcelona,” said U.S. National Team swimmer Megan Romano. “I take a lot of confidence in knowing that I’m wearing the fastest suit in the market, and I love the patriotism of the red, white and blue design.”

are Leverenz and Romano sponsored by Arena??? If so…YAYAYAY!! Congrats to them!!

yea Ledecky and Franklin are sticking to their speedos….to each their own. They’re used to swimming in those suits….and have had success…why switch now?

(dumb question…how many times can those suits be worn? Aren’t they like $600? Can’t imagine buying a new suit for every swim meet…on top of the cost of travel/accomodations!)

Yo, how ugly is this suit?
This suit is so ugly it makes your mama forget about those ugly Speedo suit systems that were rolled out a couple years ago.

True – since our colours are Navy, Red and White – not royal.
Sorry – I’m not impressed with Arena’s first attempt at Nationals Team Uniforms – sweats or suit.
