Mother aur Son jo ki India ke Belagavi se belong krte hai unhone August 14 ko Kazakhstan mei huye Nur Sultan Ironman event mei compete kiya. Mayura Shivalkar, jo ki ek cancer survivor bhi hai wo aur unke son Megh ne 226.7-km-three-event competition finished kiya.
Is challenge mei 3.8km swimming, 180 km biking aur 42.2 km ki running krna tha, ye ek ke baad ek hi perform krna tha. Is challenge ko 17 hours se kam time mei hi complete bhi krna tha.
Megh ne 18-24 age group mei participate kiya tha aur 11:48.55s ki timing ke sath unhone is age group mei first position bhi achieve ki.
Mayura ne women’s 45-49 age group mei participate kiya tha aur is challenge ko 15:18.06 hours mei complete ki.
“Mother aur Son is challenge ke liye 1 saal se bhi jyada time se training kr rhe the,” N Raghuram, jo ki Ironman enthusiast aur family friend hai unhone kaha.
