SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Bryant head swimming and diving coach Katie Cameron has announced the hiring of Katie Polk as the team’s diving coach.

Polk comes to Smithfield after coaching at Simmons College. She helped lead the Sharks to a runner-up finish at last year’s GNAC Championships and a 2022 CSCAA Scholar All-America team award. She dove collegiately at UMass, winning an Atlantic-10 three-meter championship and Diver of the Year honors in 2019. She was a three-year captain and four-year zone qualifier for the Minutewomen.

Coach Cameron: “We are beyond excited to have Katie on the swim and dive staff and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her.  She is driven, passionate, and very upbeat.  She adds some new energy to the diving program that will help us achieve all personal and team goals, and brings great energy and experience to Bryant.  She was an awesome diver at Umass and obtained some good experience coaching last year! The season looks amazing for Bryant diving! Welcome to the Bulldog family Katie!
