Texas A&M’s Bobbi Kennett swept the women’s sprint free events. She first clocked a 23.39 to win the 50 free by 0.34 seconds. Kennett then went on to swim a 51.43 in the 100 free, winning the race by half a second.

TCU picked up a win in the women’s 200 free, where Emma Hultquist swam a 1:50.40, holding off Texas A&M’s Jordan Buechler (1:50.44). The pair were right next to each other through the first 100, but Hultquist pulled ahead on the third 50. Buechler closed the gap on the final lap, but was ultimately touched out at the finish.

Texas A&M’s Baylor Nelson picked up two wins on the day. He took the men’s 200 fly in 1:49.53, going out in 53.34 on the first 100, and coming home in 56.19. Nelson then went on to win the men’s 500 free in 4:28.83, leading the field by three seconds.
