The week before midseasons start means a lot of teams are taking the week off. Unlike last week which was highlighted by a dual meet between Texas and Virginia, most of the top 12 teams SwimSwam previewed at the beginning of the season will not be competing this week.
There are a few exceptions though. Louisville will travel to Notre Dame Friday in an ACC showdown. Notably, this will be the first time that new Notre Dame head coach Chris Lindauer will face his most recent coaching stop.
Another top 12 team competing this week is Ohio State as they take on Division III powerhouse Denison. Ohio State is hosting an invite next week, and Denison is coming off losses to D3 rival Kenyon.
Most of the Ivy League will be in competition this weekend as they had most of their first dual meets this past weekend.
