SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Drexel women’s swimming and diving team hit the road for the first time this season as the Dragons defeated Seton Hall 191- 107.

Ewa Osiniak put together a strong day in the pool as the senior finished first in the 100 breast as well as the 200 IM. She also placed fourth in the 200 back where Ali Bragg and Megan Sicinski placed first and second respectively.

On the diving board, Cora Hochstetler was flawless as she placed first in both the 3-meter and 1-meter dive.

Federica Nocera continued her hot start to the season as she finished first in the 100 and 200 back. Nocera also helped the Dragons earn first place in the 200 medley relay along with Megan SicinskiMegan Ehrnfeldt and Lera Nasedkina.

The Dragons now turn their attention towards the West Virginia Invitational in Morgantown, W.Va. The three-day event begins on Nov. 17 and ends on Nov. 19.

South Orange, N.J. – Seton Hall men’s swimming and diving earned its third straight victory on Saturday afternoon, defeating Drexel 195.5-104.5 at Arthur E. Imperatore Natatorium. Nine different Pirates recorded individual victories on the afternoon.

The day got started with the 1M dive in which the Pirates took each of the top three spots. Trevor Post (Bay City, Mich.) picked up the victory with a total score of 300.52, followed by Quinn Murtha (Cumming, Ga.) in second and Joel Satir (Greenwich, Conn.) in third. Later in the 3M dive, Murtha would be the one to come out on top with a score of 316.80.

The first swimming event of the day went the way of the Pirates, as the relay group of Ross Pantano (Bennington, Neb.), Ben Endersby (Caldwell, N.J.), Michael Klimaszewski (London, England) and Thomas Minar (Oxford, Conn.) combined to touch the wall in 1:30.74 to win the 200 Medley Relay. This was the first of two relay wins on the day for Seton Hall, as Klimaszewski and Minar were also part of the winning 400 Free Relay team with Kevin Cary (West Chester, Pa.) and Gideon Langenbusch (Oberhausen, Germany).

Cary, Endersby, Klimaszewski and Pantano would all add individual wins to their efforts later on. Cary took home first place in the 200 Free, posting a time of 1:41.99. Pantano’s win came in the 100 Back with a time of 50.38, good enough for a top-10 program time. Klimaszewski would take the win in the 100 Free in 45.97.

Endersby took first in a pair of events on the day. He would headline the 200 Breast for the Pirates in which he, Gennarino Conzemius (Bethel Park, Pa.) and Shayne Simmons (Danbury, Conn.) took the top three spots, respectively. Endersby also took first in the 100 Breast in 57.02.

Sean Vizzard (Mount Laurel, N.J.) picked up his second win of the season and his first in the 500 Free, finishing with a time of 4:39.49. In the other distance event, Clil Halevi (Kafar Hadranim, Israel) won the 1000 Free for the third time this season with a top-10 program time of 9:31.00. Also claiming victory on Saturday was Justin Oosterwyk (Pequannock, N.J.), who took the top spot in the 200 Fly with a time of 1:52.91.

The Pirates will have next weekend off before competing again at the WVU Invite, which runs from Nov. 17-19.
