Highlighting the meet was BOTR Florida commit for the class of 2023 Josh Parent. Parent won all of his individual races. Most notably, Parent dropped over 11 seconds in his 1650 free. Parent dropped from a 15:08.44 to a 14:56.60. This was a huge drop for the Florida signee as that time would place him at #16 in the NCAA so far this season (Note: The 1650 free is not typically swum at dual meets so most times are from midseasons). It took a 14:52.40 to score in the event at NCAAs last season.
Parent also had a .61 second drop in the 400 IM, now having a best time of 3:48.94 winning the event in the process. That time would be #45 in the NCAA this season. Parent also picked up wins in the 200 fly (1:47.35), 200 IM (1:48.41, best time), 500 free (4:25.38), 100 free (9:05.99), and 200 breast (best time of 2:01.04). In addition to swimming the 500 and 1000 individually, his splits during his mile in both were actually faster than his individual event. He swam a 4:23.90 at the 500 mark and a 8:58.24 at the 1000 mark. His 500 split was a personal best time.
Competing with Parent in many events was Alabama commit Tommy Hagar. Hagar picked up a win in the 100 back (48.37) swimming a best time in the process. He finished second behind Parent in the 400 IM (3:55.17), 200 fly (1:47.63, a best time by over a second), and 200 IM (1:50.02). He also won the 200 back in a best time of 1:44.83.
17 year old Thomas Powers-Hammond picked up two wins at the meet wining the 100 free in a 45.16, a best time by over half a second. He also won the 200 free in a 1:37.62, a best time by over a second and a half. He also was second in the 50 free swimming a 20.73. Bryant commit James Misto captured that win in a 19.98, marking his first time under the 20 second mark.
Alexei Avakov won the men’s 100 breast in a 54.86. That was a best time for Avakov whose previous best stood at a 55.51.
Highlighting the girls side of the meet was 15 year old Zuri Ferguson who won both the backstroke events. She won the 100 touching in a best time of 53.73. She also won the 200 back touching in a 1:56.79, also a best time.
Skylar Knowlton swept the distance frees winning the 1000 free in a best time of 10:05.38. That was a best time by almost 17 seconds. She also won the 1650 free in a 16:58.09 (a best time by over 18 seconds).
Anna Boemer swept the butterfly events winning the 200 fly in a 1:59.42. That was a huge best time for the Michigan commit as her previous best stood at a 2:02.17. She also won the 100 fly in a 53.46, just off her best time of 52.84.
The youngest event winner was 13 year old Jacqueline Zipagan who won the 200 free in a 1:48.69 touching just ahead of Phoenix Elissa Kin who touched in a 1:49.10. Zipagan also finished second in the 100 free with a best time of 50.54. Winning the 100 free was Michaela Chokureva who touched in a 49.84. Chokureva also won the 50 free in a 22.79.
Dana Li picked up two wins on the final day. Li won the 200 IM in a 2:02.54 and the 500 free in a 4:54.23. Li is headed to Brown for fall 2023.
Other event winners were Kate Handley swimming a 1:02.20 in the 100 breast and Isabella Schneider who swam a 4:21.07 in the 4oo IM.

Record broken!. In the results 13 YEAR OLD breaks 13-14 Girls NE 100 SCY FR Record leading off the 400 FR Relay with a 50.06r. Breaks a Jenny Thompson record from 1987.(50.10). At least one year to go pushing the record faster. National record is 47.67 by Claire Curzan.
Good swim! Would’ve been first at the east meet third at the West meet. Josh was out front.
