RIVERSIDE – California Baptist swim and dive honored its seniors on Saturday and topped the festivities with a big home win over quality opponents. The women came up with the triple-win on Saturday, defeating Incarnate Word (200-68), San Diego (169-124), and LMU (214-62), while the men handled their lone opponent in Incarnate Word, 173-116.

Mark Kovacsics and Remi Fabiani earned three individual wins on Saturday to lead all CBU swimmers, but Fabiani took the edge over Kovacsics by helping the 200 medley relay squad win as well. Robert Moseley was the only other Lancer man with multiple victories on the day with two.

The women were up against double the competition of the men on Saturday but still managed a handful of multiple event winners as well. Lydia BartlettFaith Brazil, and Natalia Bedolla each won two events each with Brazil contributing to the 200 medley relay victory.

Next up for the Lancers in split duty as the dive teams head to Westwood to take part in the UCLA Dive Invite from Jan. 13-15 while the swimmers next meet will be at home against UC Santa Barbara on January 14.
