“It felt great to race again. We haven’t had a meet since Nov. 18 against Lehigh. We’ve been training hard just not competing. So, our first meet back felt great,” said Lafayette head coach James Dailey. “We recently spent time in Florida for a winter training camp and it went really well.  Training doubles long course meters and short course yards everyday is not only preparing to swim best times in our season-ending meets but the dual meets in between,” Dailey said. “I am very excited for our women’s team notching our first win of the season. There were a couple near misses first semester and we did a great job today.”

The team will head to Mount Saint Mary’s on Monday for a dual meet in Emmitsburg, Md.
