SAN DIEGO – The California Baptist University men’s and women’s swim teams took on the Tritons of UC San Diego in the final dual of the 2022-23 season. The Lancers would end up falling to the Tritons on both ends, with the men’s falling 172-145 while the women lost 225-90.

The Lancer men won eight of the 15 events on Saturday, but the Tritons placed more swimmers to earn the overall victory. CBU was shorthanded on the women’s side, with a handful of Lancers out for various reasons.

Remi Fabiani shined bright again, winning all three of his individual races and helping claim a relay win. Jonathan Reiter also won multiple races, claiming a pair, while Robert Moseley and Mark Kovacsics each won one. Michaela Trnkova claimed the only women’s victory in the 100 Individual Medley.
