2013-2014 Major Oceania Swimming Master Schedule

Now that the World Championships have come and gone we can look forward to the competition schedule for the 2013-14 across the world.

With that in mind, we have put together below a master schedule of major competitions that include nations within the Oceania Region for the next year.

Short Course Meters meets are in blue, Long Course Meters meets are in green and Open Water Competitions are in red (with the exception of major international games where the open water events are included).

October 20-21: FINA World Cup – Doha (SCM)

October 26: Queensland Open Water Championships – Brisbane, Australia

November 5-6: FINA World Cup – Singapore (SCM)

November 9-10: FINA World Cup – Tokyo (SCM)

November 13-14: FINA World Cup – Beijing (SCM)

November 17: State Harbour Crossing Auckland Ocean Swim – Auckland, New Zealand

December 7: State Bay of Islands Classic Ocean Swim – Paihia, New Zealand

December 14-20: Queensland Championships – Brisbane, Australia (LCM)

December 14-19: Victorian Age Championships – Melbourne, Australia (LCM)

January 11-12: New Zealand Open Water Championships – Taupo, New Zealand

January 17-19: Victorian Open Championships – Melbourne, Australia (LCM)

January 26: State Capital Classic – Wellington Ocean Swim – Wellington, New Zealand

January 31-February 2: BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series – Perth, Australia (LCM)

February/March TBA: Australian Open/Age Open Water Championships – Shepparton, Australia

February 2: 2013 Australian Swimmer of the Year Awards – Perth, Australia

February 14-16: State New Zealand Junior Championships – Wellington, New Zealand (LCM)

February 22: State La Grande Swim – Akaroa Ocean Swim – Akaroa, New Zealand

March 12-15: State New Zealand Division II Competition – Hamilton, New Zealand (LCM)

March 22: State Sand to Surf – Mt Maunganui Ocean Swim – Mt Mauganui, New Zealand

April 1-April 6: Australian Swimming Championships – Brisbane, Australia (LCM)

April 8-April 11: State New Zealand Open Championships – Auckland, New Zealand (LCM)

April 12: State King of the Bays – Auckland Ocean Swim – Auckland, New Zealand

April 14-21: Georgina Hope Swimmers Foundation Australian Age and MC Age Championships – Sydney, Australia (LCM)

April 29-May 3: Mayfair Pools New Zealand Age Group Championships – Wellington, New Zealand (LCM)

July 23-August 3: 2014 XX Commonwealth Games – Glasgow, Scotland (LCM)

August 17-22: Summer Youth Olympic Games (swimming portion) – Nanjing, China (LCM)

August 18-23: X Oceania Swimming Championships – Auckland, New Zealand (LCM)

August 21-25: Pan Pacific Championships – Gold Coast, Queensland Australia (LCM)

August 27-31: Junior Pan Pacific Championships – Maui, Hawaii (LCM)

August 31-September 4: State New Zealand Short Course Championships – Wellington, New Zealand (SCM)
